제목 Control of surface hydrophobicity of polymer thin film by wrinkling method
초록 Hydrophobic surface is essential to develop high water-repellent, self-cleaning surface. Wrinkling is a simple method to make a surface hydrophobic by controlling surface morphology. The wavelength of the wrinkled structure decreased and its amplitude increased simultaneously with increasing compressive strain and decreasing film thickness. It was founded that the structural feature of buckles was the crucial characteristics to increase contact angle. The contact angle was mainly affected by the ratio of height of buckles and spacing between the buckles. The thickest film (605 nm) at the highest strain (30 %) had the highest ratio of the height to spacing and showed super-hydrophobicity with high contact angle (169±10°).
