The size of silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs) used for the production of transparent conductive films (TCF) has a primary effect on the dispersion stability. Therefore, the manufacturing method of Ag NPs is an important factor affecting the TCF performance. This determines the size and shape of the Ag NPs according to the manufacturing method. In addition, metal and organic components that have not been purified during Ag NPs production may affect the transparent conductive coating solution, which may result in deterioration of adherence and conductivity after transparent conductive coating. In this study, the effect of average particle size and morphology of Ag NPs on thickness and shape of silver conductive lines formed on PET film was analyzed by SEM. Based on these results, we investigated the effect of average particle size and morphology of Ag NPs on conductivity of TCF.
