Carbon material is frequently used as supports to load Platinum (Pt) nanoparticles as catalysts in fuel cell. In our research, Pt supported with three kinds of different carbon material that has high surface area, hydrophilic property and high conductivity for high efficiency. Combining sonication and reduction method, it is expected to increase high catalyst efficiency by enhanced surface area. Crystallinity, structure and size of catalysts were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Electrochemical properties were compared by cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurements. Average particle size and morphology were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
