제목 Fabrication and Characterization of Porous TCP-ZrO2Scaffold using in-situ synthesized powder by a sol-gel process coupled with microwave assisted synthesis
초록 TCP-ZrO2 composite powder was synthesized using the sol-gel process coupled with microwave hydrothermal process using calcium hydroxide, phosphoric acid, and zirconium tetra bute-oxide as precursors. After that, porous TCP-ZrO2 scaffold was fabricated with the synthesized powder in the replica method. PU foam was used as the fugitive skeleton to fabricate the porous scaffold. TCP-ZrO2 powder was mixed in PEG and homogenized and then applied to the PU foam by dip coating. After several times of coating and the subsequent oven drying the coated PU foam was burnt out at 750ºC at air to remove the PU. The resulting networked porous composites were sintered at 1300ºC in microwave furnace for 20, 25 and 30 minutes. Detailed microstructure of the porous body was characterized by SEM and XRD. Material properties of the porous bodies like compressive strength and porosity was investigated. The biocompatibility of the fabricated porous body was investigated by MTT assay.
