제목 Induced Pluripotent Stem (iPS) Cells Behavior onPLGA-gelatin Film and Scaffold
초록 Due to their great therapeutic potential, induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell technology has emerged as the most promising method for cell-based therapies in regenerative medicine. Presentlu used iPS cells are derived from the mouse skin cells after the reprogramming, closely mimicking the potential of embryonic stem cells. In this study, Polylactic acid-co-glycolic acid (PLGA)-gelatin film and scaffolds were prepared in other to investigate the adhesion property of iPS cells. Once attached on the substrates, iPS cells were forced to differentiate into osteogenesis on the films or chondrogenesis in the scaffilds. Each sample were evaluated using RT-PCR, histology, and CCK-8 assay. The results indicated a critical role of PLGAgelatin complex, increasing the efficiency of cell adhesion.
