제목 | Study on preparation of a microvoided PLA film by a bi-orientation method |
초록 | In this study, a microvoided poly(L-lactide) (PLA) film was prepared by blending PLA and polymer with lower Tm than 160 ℃ such as PP, PE, PS, PVA for packaging and construction materials. Two polymer was blended by a mixer, and melted at higher temperature than 200 ℃, and casted by cooling roll at lower temperature than 20 oC. Finally, the microvoided PLA film with 20~30 um thick was obtained by stretching both mechanical and transverse direction. Its composition was PLA of 80 ~ 95 wt% and the rest polymer of 5~20 wt%. PLA and PP (or PE, PS, PVA) is immiscible and promoted the initiation of crystallization each other. The density of the microvoided PLA film was 0.95~1.0 g/cm3 due to the formation of many microvoids in film inside. The microvoided film with paper-like properties and touch was applied for packaging and construction materials. |
