Synthesis of Hexafluoropropylene oxide(HFPO) was carried out in a two-phase system of an aqueous phase and an organic phase, and was done in their surface. In this study, HFPO was prepared form hexafluoropropylene(HFP) containing Perfluorocarbon(PFCs) by the use of continuous reaction equipment. HFPO was synthesised by oxidation of HFP using organic solvent (F-113), sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution and trioctylmethylammonium chloride(TOMAC) as phase transfer catalyst(PTC). Quantitative analysis of the HFPO and HFP by gas chromatography(GC) showed that the HFP comversion was 50%. |
