제목 Thermal degradation kinetics of polyurethane filled with graphene nanoplates
초록 Graphene nanoplates(GNPs) prepared from natural graphite are attracting attentions of researchers as conductive nanofillers for polymer composites. GNPs may be obtained via various process. We made GNPs by intercalation of graphite and exfoliation by microwave heating. In this study, we prepared polyurethane nanocomposites from the GNPs and prepolymer of poly(tetramethylene ether glycol) and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate. Thermal degradation of the nanocomposites were studied employing Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The degradation kinetics were analyzed with Kissinger eq. it was found that the activation energies of the degradation reaction of urethane units and polyols were increased by adding GNPs into the polyurethanes.
