Herein, we report a facile chemical approach for the synthesis of WO3 nanosheets embedded with PdO nanoclusters (WO3@PdO) as a nanoparticle catalyst for the electrochemical reactions of Zin-air battery. WO3 nanosheets were directly converted from metallic WS2 nanosheets through the spontaneous formation and deposition of PdO nanoclusters in water under mild conditions (1 h, 50oC), producing WO3@PdO hybrid structures. As-prepared WO3@PdO hybrids exhibited excellent catalytic activity and durability in electrochemical oxygen reduction reaction. |
