제목 Regeneration of Biodisc Using Annulus Fibrosus Cell on Purified Alginate Microcapslues : In Vitro, In vivo, Test
초록 Tissue engineering has the possible to improve upon current techniques for intervertebral disc repair. In this study, purified alginate microcapsules were used in IVD regeneration. AF cell were seeded in Purified and Non-purified alginate microcapsules, and then cell viability and proliferation analyzed by MTT assay. RT-PCR was assessed to measure mRNA expression for B-actin, type Ⅰ, Ⅱ collagen, aggrecan from AF cells in Purified and Non-purified alginate microcapsules. AF cell-loaded Purified and Non-purified alginate microcapsules were implanted into the back of BALB/c nude mouse. The alginate microcapsule evaluated by histology staing. When we cultured AF cell of rabbit, we observed better to keep the characteristic of AF cell in the Purified alginate microcapsules than Non-purified alginate microcapsules. This result indicates that Purified alginate microcapsule is useful for IVD regeneration. This research was supported by WCU (R31-20029).
