제목 | Design of the Layered NCM Material for Fast-charging Li-ion Batteries |
초록 | Recently, the demand of lithium ion batteries (LIB) in electric automobile market drives the tthe growth of total LIB market. A charging time draws an attention since the size of the battery size gets larger for this application. The kinetics for battery system must be satisfied in order to reduce charging time, under the big current charging condition. Although some materials were suggested as high rate positive electrodes, those materials have the limitation of lower energy density. Specially designed precursors with Ni-Co-Mn chemistry were synthesized by using a co-precipitation method. The precursor has a multi-textured structure which has different configurations of inner body and outer layer. Calcined product with MTSC precursor was evaluated as a positive electrode under fast charging conditions. The details of results will be presented at the meeting. |
