Significant effort has been devoted to spatially isolating active sites to create stable heterogeneous catalyst systems with minimal deactivation from coke formation or irreversible sintering.However, improving the stability and regenerability of catalysts still remains an important challenge. Herein we address the following question related to developing such an understanding:How do the catalytic performance and stability of silica encapsulated nanoparticle catalyst over multiple regeneration stepscompare to traditionally nanoparticle catalyst supported on silica for heterogeneous reactions? |
