제목 Preparation and Characterization of Multi-Sulfonated Poly(ether sulfone)s for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell
초록 Multi-sulfonated poly(ether sulfone)s with highly sulfonated units were successfully synthesized for proton exchange membrane. Multi-sulfonated poly(ether sulfone)s were prepared by the 4,4’-dichlorodiphenylsulfone with multi phenyl monomer and 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane, followed by sulfonation using chlorosulfonic acid. The films were converted from the salt to acid forms with dilute hydrochloric acid. Different contents of sulfonated unit of the MSPES were studied by FT-IR, 1H-NMR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). Sorption experiments were conducted to observe the interaction of sulfonated polymers with water and methanol.
