제목 Study on the thermal conductivity of the stretched PVA/h-BN composite films
초록 Recently, heat dissipation is getting important to obtain optimum performance in electronic devices, mobile devices and so on. Accordingly, the demand of heat dissipation polymer composites is increasing but most polymers have the low thermal conductivity. In order to improve the heat dissipation property of the polymers, thermally conductive fillers are generally added. In this study, we researched the improved thermal conductivity by stretching polyvinyl alcohol composite films containing h-BN that is known as thermally conductive filler. To make the composite films with uniform dispersion, the PVA/h-BN solution was prepared by using ultrasonication and the composite films were prepared by solvent casting method. The prepared composite films were uni-axially stretched to align the h-BN particles effectively. Thermal diffusivity of the composite films was measured by LFA447. And effects of filler contents and stretching ratio on the thermal conductivity of the films were investigated.
