Thermal conductivity of liquid crystalline epoxy/boron nitride composites using non‐covalent functionalized boron nitride |
초록 |
Non-covalent functionalization was used to functionalize boron nitride(f-BN) through π–π stacking of pyrene molecules , which results in improvement in the thermal conductivity of composites. Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol(BP) was synthesized for improving the crystallinity of epoxy composites, and thermal properties of BP/f-BN composites were compared with commercial biphenyl type epoxy composites. The thermal conductivity of BP composites were higher than commercial epoxy composites due to the π-π stacking of introduced mesogenic groups. The infrared (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) were used for characterization of synthesized BP resin. The curing temperature with different curing agents of epoxy was examined using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). To analyze relationship between crystallinity and thermal conductivity, morphologies were observed by transmittance electron microscope (TEM) and thermal diffusivity was measured with the laser flash method. |
