Fabrication of Gold Nanoshell with a Biocompatible Chitosan Core |
초록 |
Chitosan is a hydrophilic biocompatible polymer. The aim of this study was making nanoshell from chitosan with absorbance wavelength in NIR region. Chitosan nanoparticles were prepared via cross-linking process with tripolyphosphate to make the nanoparticles with spherical shape as the core of nanoshell. The nanoshell fabrication process involved two-step technique of attaching gold colloid on the surface of the core based on electrostatic charge of amine groups of chitosan and followed by reducing more gold salt to complete the shell. The nanoshell was characterized by UV-Vis spectra, the size and structure were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy observations. |
