In this presentation, we report a synthesis and characterization of new 4,5-diazafluorene-based D-π-D type two-photon absorption (TPA) chromophores. The 4,5-diazafluorene-based materials are highly desirable for TPA applications due to its π-conjugation, inherent photochemical property, the higher planarity and thermal stability. Their photophysical data were obtained through UV-Vis and PL spectroscopy. Their TPA cross-section (σ2) values were measured in two-photon exited fluorescence method and the σ2 values were found to be 569 GM (760 nm) for 2TP-SPNB and 818 GM (760 nm) for 3TP-SPNB under 50 mW fs pulse (1×10-5 M in THF), respectively. By using these chromophores, we have been successfully fabricated various 2-D and 3-D objects under mild fabrication conditions. |
