제목 Synthesis and characterization of conjugated organic dye and it`s two photon absorption properties
초록 There is still a growing interest in organic chromophores with large two-photon absorption (TPA) cross-section and high up conversion emission properties due to its potential for application in a wide range of areas such as frequency-up converted lasing, optical power limiting, 3-D optical data storage, 3-D lithographic micro-fabrication, and photo dynamic therapy. We have synthesized novel donor-fluorene-donor type organic dyes which contain an alkyl fluorene unit bridging two fuctionalized donor groups. In order to enhance the two photon absorption efficiency it is important to increase the electron donating ability as well as the coplanarity of the molecule. Optical power limiting was measured to investigate the two-photon absorption efficiency of these dyes.
