The effect of the carbon nanotubes, in this study, was executed when the polyaniline/Carbon-CNT composite nanofiber web was used as electrodes of supercapacitor. At first, the mixed solution of both polyacrylonitrile (PAN) in N,N–dimethylformamide (DMF) and multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) was electrospun so as to make PAN-based nanocomposite fiber web. The electrospun PAN-based nanocomposite carbon fiber web was synthesized by activating at 800℃ in steam atmosphere. Finally, the polyaniline/carbon-MWCNT nanofiber composite web was prepared by polymerizing aniline to use APS as an oxidant on the carbon-MWCNT nanofiber web. The physical property of polyaniline/carbon-MWCNT composite nanofiber web was characterized with SEM, XRD, BET technique. The cell was fabricated with two polyaniline/carbon composite nanofiber web electrodes, 5M H2SO4 electrolyte solution, polypropylene separator, current collector of stainless steel. The electrochemical performance of 20 wt% polyaniline/carbon-MWCNT composite nanofiber web electrode exhibited the highest capacitance (287 F/g). |
