제목 | Formation and Characterization of Layered Structure from Polyimides Having Flexible Side Chains(Ⅱ) |
초록 | In our previous work, a series of polyimides having flexible side chains are designed and synthesized, which are composed of hydrophobic segment of long chains. As a result, we have shown that the polyimide with flexible alkyl side chains have a loose layered structures in the form of double stacking. In this work, we have synthesized homo-polyimides, co-polyimides and polyimide blends having hydrophobic and hydrophilic flexible side chains through chemical imidization of precursor poly(amic acid)s. Copolymers had amphiphilic character by virtue of incorporation of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic repeat unit. These copolymers were characterized by NMR and SAXS for the composition and structural analysis respectively1,2.
