제목 Influence of nitrogen doping effect on electrochemical analysis of modified-graphene oxide composite electrode containing elemental sulfur
초록 In the field of energy storage systems (ESS), nitrogen-doped graphene (NGS) is most attractive choice. Among many types of ESS, Lithium-sulfur battery is suitable to apply NGS due to strong adsorption of nitrogen atoms that doped in carbon matrix. Nitrogen atoms in carbon matrix were preventing dissolution of polysulfide and enhance cycle performance of cells. Because of low cost and convenience, urea is generally preferred as nitrogen source. In this study, we carried out three ratios of urea to graphene oxide to find optimum ratio. The morphology of the composite was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transition electron microscopy (TEM). Functional groups and bonding characterization were scanned by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Electrochemical properties were also characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in 1M LiTFSI electrolyte. The 300 wt % of urea to graphene oxide shows most outstanding electrochemical performance.
