제목 | Characterization of carbon-coated Li2MnSiO4 cathode materials prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid for lithium rechargeable batteries |
초록 | Silicon is an element with natural abundance and non toxic characteristics. And orthosilicate is one class of the attractive polyanions with intrinsic thermal stability. The lithium transition-metal orthosilicates, Li2MSiO4 (M = Fe, Mn, and Co), have been proposed as a new class of high-capacity lithium ion battery cathode. Carbon-coated Li2MnSiO4 was synthesized by a sol-gel method using citric acid. The structural properties of Li2MnSiO4 were carried out using an X-ray diffraction (XRD). The morphological feature was investigated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). SEM observations showed nanosized particles with 50 nm. The electrochemical characterization of the products was carried out between 2.0 and 4.7V in coin cell. |
