제목 Characterization of carbon-coated Li2MnSiO4 cathode materials prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid for lithium rechargeable batteries
초록 Silicon is an element with natural abundance and non toxic characteristics. And orthosilicate is one class of the attractive polyanions with intrinsic thermal stability. The lithium transition-metal orthosilicates, Li2MSiO4 (M = Fe, Mn, and Co), have been proposed as a new class of high-capacity lithium ion battery cathode.
Carbon-coated Li2MnSiO4 was synthesized by a sol-gel method using citric acid. The structural properties of Li2MnSiO4 were carried out using an X-ray diffraction (XRD). The morphological feature was investigated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). SEM observations showed nanosized particles with 50 nm. The electrochemical characterization of the products was carried out between 2.0 and 4.7V in coin cell.
