제목 | Effect of Surfactant Additives on Water Absorption of Electrospun Poly(Glycolide-co-Lactide) Nonwoven |
초록 | Nonwoven biodegradable membranes fabricated by electrospinning have recently attracted a great deal of attention for biomedical applications. Synthetic biodegradable poly(glycolide-co-lactide)(PLGA) are routinely used in medical and biological applications such as medical implants, scaffolds for tissue engineering and drug delivery devices. In this work, suitable surfactants were added to PLGA solution dissolved in MC/DMF system. Various solution designed to enable evaluation of water absorption in the presence of surfactants have been elaborated so as to simulate electrospinning as much as possible. Based upon the concept of HLB, we investigate the effect of electrospinnability and water absorption on types of surfactant. |
