Here, we report heptamethine dyes(IR825), a near infrared(NIR) active hyper-thermal killing system for destruction cancer cell and pathogens. IR825 constructed BODIPY (fluorescence dye) quaternized zwitterionic PDNS(IR825/BOD-PDNS) showed great NIR irradiated in vitro photothermal toxicity to cancer cells with pH and temperature-dependent fluorescence emissions ability. Furthermore, this photothermal agents also constructed in exfoliation montmorillonite (MMT) by polyvinylpyrrolidione-q-catechol with sultones(C-PVPS) through ionic exchange reactions. Studying this nanocomposite revealed a sharp increase in photothermal heat (ΔT=30 °C in 5 min) as a function of irradiation time, and the layered MMT structure is promising for optimizing the required thermal stability to increase the photothermal heat. Only 5 min of exposing an in vitro suspension of bacteria to NIR triggered local nanocomposite resulted in rapid killing of both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. |
