Drawing process was used to improve tensile property of polymers. Recently, drawing nylon 6 was applied in manufacturing operations because of chemical stability and high tensile strength. As drawing process was improved, mechanical properties of nylon 6 sheet could be enhanced. For more improved mechanical properties of nylon 6 sheet, we studied effect of modified additives as plasticizer in drawing process, in order to overcome the limit of drawing ratio at single-stage uniaxial drawing. In maximum drawing ratio, the changes of tensile strength, elongation and young's modulus of nylon 6 sheet was examined. |
