Effect of Lactide-modified Clay on Properties and Morphology of Polylactide/Clay Nanocomposites |
| 초록 |
A modified clay/polylactide nanocompoistes is prepared. The clay is modified by grafting different molecular weight of polylactide onto the surface of the clay. The modified clay is melt-compounded with a high-molecular-weight polylactide matrix. This novel clay/polylactide nanocomposites exhibits remarkable improvements of mechanical and material properties when compared with neat polylactide or conventional composites. Improvements include a high storage modulus, increased tensile and flexural modulus, increased heat distortion temperature and thermal stability etc |
