Photonic crystals of porous Si (PSi) have been a topic of interest, because of its use in chemical and biological sensors, biomaterials, and optical devices. Multistructured porous silicons, DBR (distributed Bragg reflectors) PSi, exhibit unique optical properties, providing the reflection of specific wavelength in the optical reflectivity spectrum. By change of several etch parameters, we can dramatically control the properties such as morphologies and number of specific wavelength. Here we report the enhancement of efficient detection method for Dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP) based on nanostructured photonic single and double DBR PSi. DMMP is a stimulant for G-type nerve agents. |
