NO gas sensing of chemical activated MWCNTs developed pore structure |

Activated multiwall carbon nano tubes(AMCNTs) were prepared for the potential material of gas sensors. Multiwall carbon nano tubes were activated by chemical activation process by using potassium hydroxide for the adsorption sites. The morphology and structure change of AMCNTs were investigated by using TEM and Raman based on the effect of activation process. The specific surface area and pore structure were evaluated by BET and DFT equations. The sensitivity and response of NO gas were investigated by using Keithley 6514 electrometer. |
