제목 Inorganic-Organic Hybrid Electrolytes for Stable Li-S Battery
초록 Recently, lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery has attracted significant attention owing to its high theoretical capacity (1675mAh/g) and specific energy (2600 Wh/kg). However, Li-S batteries are limited in actual usage by several problems. One major drawback of Li-S batteries is poor cyclability, originated from the formation of intermediate reduction species Li2Sx (3≤ x ≤6), which are highly soluble in commercial liquid electrolytes. To overcome this problem, we have synthesized a new solid polymer electrolyte comprising organic polyelectrolytes and inorganic nanoparticles. The organic components offer high Li+ conductivity while the inorganic nanoparticles impart mechanical stability as well as effectively suppress the dissolution of polysulfide. The cycle performance of Li-S battery composed of the new solid electrolyte was characterized by galvanostatic methods.
