제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Furan-Quinoxaline containing Polyfluorenes |
초록 | Six new copolymers of 9,9’-dioctylfluorene and 5,8-dibromo-2,3-difuran-2-yl-quinoxaline were synthesized by Pd-mediated Suzuki copolymerization with very high yield. Characterization of the polymers including 1H and 13C NMR, and UV-vis spectroscopy, PL spectroscopy as well as Thermal Analysis and molecular weight was studied. These polymers exhibited good solubility in common organic solvents, good thermal stability, and facile film formation. The absorption and emission maxima of the copolymers varied according to the ratio of incorporated comonomer (difuran-2-yl-quinoxaline). Due to the quinoxaline moiety, LUMO-level of copolymer were increased (but HOMO-level is almost unchanged) and band-gap were decreased as increasing the ratio of comonomer. In this presentation, the performances of OLEDs consisting of these polymers will be discussed. |
