제목 Solvothermal Synthesis and Characterization of Mo/UiO-66 Particles for Partial Oxidation of n-Dodecane
초록 Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are relatively new porous materials that possess great potential for catalysts, catalyst supports and adsorbents. Especially zirconium-based MOFs attracted great attention because of their exceptional thermal and mechanical stability. UiO-66 has over 1000 m2/g surface area and 6Å unimodal pore size. Molybdenum forms two binary oxide MoO3 and MoO2. MoO2 exhibits an unusual metallic electrical conductivity, which is not common characteristic of metal oxides. The metallic conductivity of MoO2 makes it a material of interest for many applications. Recently MoO2 has been used as a catalyst for alkane isomerization or oxidation reaction because of thermal stability and resistance for coking.
In this study, we report the catalytic performance of MoO2@ZrO2 derived from Mo/UiO-66 particles synthesized by solvothermal method. As synthesized samples were compared with simply impregnated Mo/UiO-66 which commonly used.
