제목 | Influence of Different Factors On the Dispersion Characteristics of Cerium Oxide: Dispersant, pH, and Dispersion medium |
초록 | The common polishing powder is mostly divalent and tetravalent metal oxides, such as iron, aluminum, cerium, titanium, etc., of which cerium-based rare earth polishing powder is known as the best polishing material, with moderate hardness, high polishing efficiency, good polishing quality, long service life, and a clean and environmentally friendly operating environment and other points, widely used in the field of polishing products such as television picture tubes, spectacle lenses, integrated circuit boards. Oxidation polishing powder dispersion in water by electrostatic gravitational force, van der Waals force, the role of particle capillary force, very easy to occur secondary agglomeration. How to reduce the powder agglomeration, is the bottleneck of the preparation of cerium oxide stable polishing solution, but also the current research in the field of micro powder hot spots. In this paper, the effects of different dispersants, pH values, and dispersion media on the secondary dispersion of cerium oxide particles were investigated. The specimens were also characterized using zeta potential and zeta particle size analyzer. |
