제목 Enhancement in Photovoltaic Performance by Co-adsorption with Alkyl Sulfonic Acid Sodium Salt on Ru-based Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
초록 To reduce the charge recombination occurring at the semiconductor/dye/electrolyte interface in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), one of the effective approaches is a surface modification on the TiO2. This method is effective to retard charge recombination or to shift CBE of TiO2, especially a coadsorbate with dye molecule is often used to break up organic dye aggregates and leads to improve device efficiency. In this study, alkyl sulfonic acid sodium salt was introduced as a coadsorbate in DSSCs by dipping in the Ru-based dye/coadsorbate mixed solution, and the resulting electrodes were applied to the photoanode of DSSCs. Its influence on the DSSC performance was investigated by measuring current density-voltage curve, impedance and open-circuit voltage decay under solar-simulated AM 1.5G irradiation
