Nafion is generally used in redox flow battery for a separator. Nafion correspond to separator, by high conductivity and good durability but, it’s high permeability and high cost obstacle to commercialize of redox flow battery. To resolve these problems, anion exchange membrane was research for replace nafion. Usually anion exchange membrane has low conductivity but also low permeability. Thus, select Fumion, a sort of anion exchange membrane and test ion conductivity, permeability, ion exchange capacity, water uptake, redox flow battery cell performance for compare with nafion. |
