Cellulose-based carbon was used as a support of Ni catalyst for the production of hydrogen gas, because which has advantages such as low cost, large surface area, and easy recovery of the catalyst metals after usage. We performed decomposition of C2H2 and CO2 reforming of CH4 using Ni catalyst supported on cellulose based carbon materials.As a result, Ni catalyst supported on cellulose-based carbon support shows more than 1.5 time-higher catalytic activity compared to commercial Ni/Al2O3 catalyst. Catalytic activity was measured by gas chromatography(GC) and each catalyst was investigated by SEM,TEM and CO chemisorption. |
