제목 Enhancement of Device Performance and Thermo-stability of Organic Solar Cells by Controlling Crystallinity of Donor Polymers
초록 The new π-conjugated polymer, poly(2,5-dioctyloxyphenylene vinylene-alt-3,3-dioctylquarter thiophene) (PPVQT-C8), consisted of alternating p-divinylene phenylene and 3,3-dialkylquarter thiophene units was prepared for organic solar cell devices. The crystallinity of poly(quarterthiophenes)(PQTs) was reduced by introducing p-divinylene phenylene units between two quarterthiophene units. As a result, the well-mixed nanoscale morphology and thermo-stability of PPVQT-C8:PCBM photoactive layers could be maintained, which result in increased power conversion efficiency when compared to devices based on the highly crystalline PQTs. Bulk heterojunction solar cells based on PPVQT-C8:PC60BM blend with 1:3 ratio present the best photovoltaic performances with Jsc of 6.7mA/cm2, Voc of 0.67V, FF of 0.62 and PCE of 2.8% under illumination of AM 1.5 with light intensity of 100 mW/cm2.
