제목 Thermal shrinkage of chemically recycled and virgin Poly(ethylene terephthalate) blend
초록 Chemically recycled/virgin poly(ethylene terephthalate) blends were prepared by melt blending process. In order to enhance the physical properties, virgin PET were compounded with chemically recycled PET with the ratio of 20, 40, and 70 wt %. The mechanical and thermal properties, thermal shrinkage and crystallinity of chemically recycled/virgin PET blends were investigated in this research. The thermal shrinkage of chemically recycled/virgin PET blends was increased with increasing chemically recycled PET content. Tensile strength and modulus of chemically recycled/virgin PET blends were increased by the addition of virgin PET content. The thermal stability of chemically recycled/virgin PET blends was increased with increasing virgin PET content. The color index of chemically recycled/virgin PET blends was measured to investigate yellowing by chemically recycled PET.
