In this work, the high performance carbon fibers were prepared by solution polymerization methods from styrene and divinylbenzene solutions with various conditions, such as 60~80℃ synthesized temperature and 1~6 wt% initiator content. Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR) were executed to confirm the synthesized polymer, the physicochemical properties of spinning fibers were examined and discussed in Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). |
