제목 Single Bacterial cell patterning by Dip-pen Nanolithography and monitoring of bacteria motions.
초록 DPN is a direct-write scanning probe lithography, in which an atomic force microscopy probe is used to deliver ink materials on various substrates. As we modified bare AFM tip with a nano structured poly (2-methyl-2-oxazoline)-coated tip and used carrier agents, we defeated the limitations of conventional DPN system such as low patterning speed, limited size of ink molecules. We have patterned E.coli bacteria on LB-agar layer via DPN with the modified tip. Furthermore, we demonstrate how one could monitor the force of flagellar motion in live bacterial cells.
