Investigation of composition of ammonium dinitramide using X-ray powder diffraction method |
초록 |
Ammonium dinitramide (ADN) as a green propellant has been studied extensively. High purities solid ADN can be obtained through the formation of guanylurea dinitramide (GUDN) and subsequent cation substitution. ADN can be decomposed under ambient condition in which ammonium nitrate is a major product. For the application of propellant, the purity of ADN should be determined and controlled readily but only ion chromatographic determination method is available. Therefore, the robust method is required for the determination of the purity of ADN. In this work, the X-ray powder diffraction method has been applied to investigate the composition of ADN under ambient condition. The practical advantage and limitation of X-ray powder diffraction method will also be presented. |
