Biosensors and Biochips Fabricated by Piezoelectric Inkjet Printing |
초록 |
The piezoelectric (PZT) inkjet printing holds great promise for manufacturing of miniaturized bioelectronics devices such as biochips and biosensors. In this study, biosensors and cell array chips have been fabricated by PZT inkjet printing on polymer substrates. Enzymatic glucose sensors composed of oxidase, peroxidase and conducting polymers (CP)s were printed on ITO-coated PET film. The sensor showed good sensitivity with a low detection limit as 130 μM and dynamic range from 156.8 to 982.5 μM with R2 as 0.98. CP gas sensors were fabricated on silver electrodes by inkjet printing. The gas sensor was sensitive to NH3 in the 0.1% range. We developed cell array chips via biocompatible anchor membrane (BAM) printing. Well defined periodic arrays of suspension cells as well as adherent cells were formed on BAM-micropatterned polymer substrates. Overall results suggest that miniaturized biosensors and biochips with a good sensitivity can be readily fabricated by PZT inkjet printing. |
