Carbon-Fiber Oxide vs Graphene Oxide |
| 초록 |
Carbon fiber oxide (CFO) was successfully prepared by chemical exfoliation of pitch-based carbon fiber (CF). CFO is regarded as alternative graphene oxide (GO) because most of chemical and morphological properties of both materials are similar. While electrical and thermal properties of chemically reduced CFO (r-CFO) is expected to be less than either chemically reduced GO (r-GO) or exfoliated graphene nanosheets due to higher defect density of CFO compared with GO, the success of CFO for the mechanical reinforcement of polymer nanocomposite is promising for the enlargement of the category of graphene-based nanofiller to accomplish the formulation of high performance nanocomposite. |
