제목 Preparation and Physicochemical characteristic of Nicotinic acid-loaded Chitosan microsphere for increased biological half-life
초록 The aim of this study was to improve nicotinic acid (NA) stability and half life time. We prepared to the NA loaded chitosan microsphere according to the stirring speed and concentration of chitosan solution. Briefly, chitosan solution and 1% NA solution were added in the mineral oil with span 80 as a surfactant. And then, we added glutaric aldehyde as a cross link agents in the this solution. The characterization of NA loaded chitosan microsphere was analyzed by SEM, particle size analyzer, TGA and XRD. In addition, stability and release of NA was evaluated by UV-vis spectrophotometer. From these results suggest that  NA loaded chitosan microspheres have a potential which increased half life time of NA.
