We designed and synthesized a series of π-conjugated polymers based on 2-(thiophen-2-ylmethylene)-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione (IND) and cyclopenta[c]thiophene-4,6(5H)-dione (TIND) with a typical D-A configuration, in which the electron-donating BDT (or BDTF) is directly linked to the electron-accepting indandione derivative (IND or TIND). We fabricated and tested inverted-type PSCs with a structure of ITO/ZnO/polymer:Y6BO/MoO3/Ag. The power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of the optimized PSCs based on IND-HT-BDT, IND-HT-BDTF, TIND-HT-BDT, TIND-HT-BDTF, TIND-DHT-BDT, and TIND-DHT-BDTF are 3.88%, 6.43%, 4.99%, 6.21%, 10.64%, and 11.13%, respectively. This study provides insights into novel donor materials for non-fullerene PSCs. |
