Preparation of monteluakst imprinted starch based biomaterial patches and its drug release properties |
초록 |
The main objective of this study are to prepared thermo-sensitive montelukast (MTL) imprinted biomaterial patches using mungbean starch (MBS), PVA, poloxamer (PX), sodium benzoate (SBA), and plasticizers (glycerol (GL) and xylitol (XL)) under UV curing process and to investigate physical and drug release properties. The prepared biomaterial patches with/without the addition of PX were characterized by FE-SEM and FT-IR. The MTL release properties in PX added or non-added biomaterial patches with the change of pH and temperature were evaluated. Results indicated that the MTL release in high pH and temperature was better than in low pH and temperature. In addition, the MTL release mechanism was investigated using Fickian diffusion and empirical models. |
