Every country in the world has been a lot of efforts to solve energy problems, such as energy security, global warming due to the depletion of oil. Among them, biofuels have been drawing attention as a clean energy being replaced fossil fuels with. However conventional biofuels have been converted from eatable biomass such as sugar cane, corn and soy which should be replaced with uneatable biomass. In this study, a techno-economical evaluation of a domestic bio waste to ethanol (BTE) process with fluidized bed gasifier was performed. Considering available domestic biomass wastes, commercial scale BTE process were selected to produce 2nd ethanol. Financial data from previous studies were modified and used and economical sensitivities with various operation conditions were evaluated in this study. Economic analysis has been conducted in terms of minimum price for the BTE process. Various operation conditions were used to perform sensitivity study. |
