제목 Electrochemical properties of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) thin film prepared by in-situ polymerization
초록 Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT) film was prepared by in-situ chemical polymerization of EDOT on the substrate such as polymer films or metal. Monomer solution was prepared by dissolving EDOT and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)(PVP) as a binder in 1-butanol. Ferric p-toluene sulfonate (FTS) was dissolved in 1-butanol as an oxidant solution. The monomer and oxidant solutions were mixed together, which were then coated on the . Polymerization of EDOT was carried out under various conditions, resulting in PEDOT thin films with various transmittances and surface resistivities. We studied the electrochemical stability and capacitance of PEDOT film such as using cyclic voltammometry in various electrolyte solutions. PEDOT thin films showed fairly good electrochemical stability even in organic electrolyte solutions and the shifts of the redox potential with number of cycle.
