제목 Synthesis of polyaniline on graphite felt (PANI@GF) as bio-cathode to improve the start-up time and acetate productivity of microbial electrosynthesis cell
초록 Microbial Elctrosynthesis is an electrochemical process used to promote microbial metabolism in biological production. Electron uptake of mocroorganism through extracellular electron transport system and cathode is a key-step in the acetate production. Here, we developed a novel electrodeposited on graphite felt electrode using polyaniline, a facile method.The high biocompatibility and good electroconductivity of PANI increased the specific surface area and interfacial interaction between the cathode surface and the microbe, thus facilitate a biofilm formation. The electrochemical properties of the modified electrode were analyzed through CV, EIS. And the physicochemical properties of PANI@GF are analyzed by SEM,FTIR. The PANI@GF produced much higher acetate production than the untreated GF. This results indicate that PANI@GF electrodes improve the microbes-electrode interaction and extracellular electron transfer and performance of MES
