Fabrication of Core-Shell structure of Co/Cu Layer Using Block Copolymer Template by Electrodeposition |

Exchange-biased metal and nonmetal junction (ferromagnetic (FM) – anti-ferromagnetic (AFM) junction) has been applied for the data storage media with high density magnetic random access memories (MRAM). The key point of this structure is the thickness (size) of AFM layer. To obtain the optimum thickness of this layer, we used polystylene-block-polymethyl methacrylate (PS-b-PMMA) nanotemplates with cylindrical microdomains aligned perpendicularly. We first prepared ultra-density cobalt nanowires by using electrodeposition, and these wires were coated by copper . |
