Controlled drug delivery system (DDS) based on nanoparticles has been intensively increased interest due to their high drug loading capacity and biocompatibility. The mesoporous silica nanoparticle MCM-41 has been researched by many groups for the biological applications with extensive specific surface, large pore volume, tunable particle and pore size. In this work, we have used pH responsive polymer for gate keeper by layer-by-layer coating on the particles which leads release guest molecule from the pore in the pH stimuli. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) shows morphology of mesoporous nanoparticles.Nitrogen adsorption and desorption isotherms were measured for mesoporous silica particles. X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS) spectra were recorded to determine the surface composition of mesoporous silica particles. We confirm the structure of the polymer by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopies. |
